Good thing we started with family photos – after two minutes, all the boys wanted to do was play, and not with each other! Boys will be boys. So off to the swings and slides we went, and smiles and laughter started again.

New cards… new shapes
Want something a little different, a little more stylish this holiday season? These new cards are die-cut into five fabulously fun shapes. Here is just one example of what can be done – as always, colors and fonts can be changed to your preference. You can even add a pre-punched hole to the circular ones...
Kayla + Garrett + Brayden | Manhattan Beach family photographer
These three were an active bunch, and kept me on my toes. They had a blast playing and running together – glad I am fast enough to keep up! Here are some early favorites from their session. I edited the black and white ones with a little chocolate tone per Mom’s request, and...
Pumpkin Patch trip | Underwood Family Farms
We take the kids to a local pumpkin patch every year, but this year we decided to trek out to Moorpark to Underwood Family Farms with my sister’s family. Well worth the trip! Think pig races, pumpkin pitching, tractor rides, panning for gold, corn cannons (yes, you put corn into a type of gun –...
Natalie & Noah | Palos Verdes Estates family photographer
Well, at least I am getting caught up on blogging and editing while we have this lousy weather!
Meet Natalie and Noah – two of my absolute favorite people. I met these two last year when Noah and Derek were on the same baseball team. I was honored when their mom asked me to...
Morgan + Delaney + Sawyer | Manhattan Beach family photographer
Picking images to blog this time of year is difficult because I have to make sure I save a lot of favorites for holiday cards!
I have known these children since they were tiny babies, and I look forward to photographing them every year. Mom is one of my close friends, so she was one of...

It is such a nice change of pace to spend some time with girls – photographing girls is an entirely different experience from photographing boys, especially when it is such sweet older girls! These three are all spread out enough in age that one is in elementary, one in middle school and one in high...

St. George, Utah | September 2010
This trip was a long discussed Mother’s Day present to myself, my mom and my sister. Red Mountain Spa in Ivins, Utah for 3 nights – hiking, relaxing, eating, massages, lots of girl time! I even promised to leave my laptop at home – it may have been the first...
Pumpkin Pie Crumble Bars
This recipe is great for the holidays, starting at Halloween, and going through Thanksgiving and Christmas. I got this from my friend Cathy, who made it for me a few Christmases ago. I thought I would share it, as it is so easy it is ridiculous. Prepare to make this every fall – delicious!

Cousins | Rancho Palos Verdes children’s photographer
This is a long overdue blog post for this family so lots of photos…. This was a super fun session at Terranea Resort with the four cousins. The weather wasn’t fantastic, but the kids were! Thomas and Owen were visiting for the weekend so we arranged a surprise cousins shoot at the last minute. These...
