Photographer lunch

How great is it when you email someone you really admire and they email you back, and then you get to hang out at lunch? Jasmine Star is a photographer I just love, not just for her photography, but for the sheer fact of who she is – a stellar individual inside and out.  She invited a bunch of us to lunch, and there is nothing better than talking photography  over good food with people who are as passionate as you are.  I "borrowed" this off her blog as one camera was enough – if we all handed them over we would have been there much longer! I met a bunch of other fantastic photographers who I look forward to getting to know better in the future. There is such a fabulous community of support among Southern CA photographers – everyone is really open to ideas, and sharing how we can all improve as photographers as whole.
