The boys wanted to go home-made this year… Jason wanted to be his favorite soccer player… Cristiano Ronaldo, and Derek made up his 80’s rocker costume from stuff around the house. Not the most creative costumes for 2011, but certainly easy, and the boys are happy. Happy trick or treating!

Happy Halloween from my two ninjas!

My whole family had a fun night dressing up and trick or treating around my sister’s neighborhood. We were met by Tigger, Daphne, Velma, and Scooby. I showed up with a crazy looking rocker vamp, and two ninjas, and ended up as a lollipop. My dad came as a pirate, and we made my mom wear my sister’s old Teacup costume. Oh, many laughs!!! The teacup got the most comments….

Just a quick post to say Happy Halloween as I run out the door with my Manny Rodriguez and my Scooby Doo – off to my sister’s house to go trick or treating! Lots of photo session and Halloween photos to come in the next few days!

Derek as Manny Ramirez – his favorite Dodger player. He was in the school parade, and I actually got a wave as he raced by.

Happy Halloween from the Pumpkin-Potato Heads

Instead of carving, we did potato head pumpkins! They were a big hit for about five minutes with my one year old newphew, ten minutes for my two year old, and a HUGE hit with the kindergartners. (Got these at my local Pavilions!) These were taken with my point and shoot – I may have to do a real photo session with the cool looking pirate!

Here are my pirates with their cousins, “Mario and Luigi” and the pink poodle.

Here are some photos from our last pumpkin patch outing with some friends. Halloween is just so fun with kids! Stay tuned for the pirate costumes next…yes, this year my kids are both pirates or knights, depending on the day. I think we are pirating for treats tomorrow. I am catching up on all my posts after being out of town for a week – for those of you looking for early peeks, I should be posting them in the next day or two.
