Where to start on this family? They are just amazing. Nastya and Kristina were recently adopted from the Ukraine, and this session took place 5 days after their arrival. They don’t speak much English yet, but their mom is home schooling them until they can start school in September. I never realized how much I talk when I photograph! I had to gesture a lot to make sure they understood what I was saying. To say that their adoption was a long process would be an understatement! They joined a big loving family here – new twin sisters and younger brother, plus two older brothers who couldn’t be there that day. We had a great time hanging out and playing. I was so honored to be able to capture images of this incredible week adding two new daughters to the family.

I wish I looked this cute at 11 and 12!!!

Gabriel wasn’t sure he wanted to share the attention with all the girls…

That’s OK – they didn’t want to sit with him anyway. I love that you can see Sara in the background after she ran away!

I finally figured out that this one is of Isabel due to the difference in ponytail colors, thank goodness.

I photograph a lot of twins – it is always an adventure, and these two were no exception to that rule. So much fun! Max had his tongue out at me for 20% of the shoot, but the other 80% he was pure delight, right Mom? Nicki was her usual sweet self, and I think she really enjoyed herself too.

This image makes me happy. Isn’t this what being a Mom is all about? Hugs and comfort…

Here they are again – two of my favorite little twins. They are 1 year old already…how time flies! Get ready for a long post of photos because I had lots of favorites. You may notice that my favorites are mostly individual photos of them – these two had a connection that when one cried, the other would smile, and visa versa! Mom and I got a good workout during this session! Can you tell the twins apart here?

These two were lots of fun and kept us laughing all morning. I kept calling Lauren Nicole and Nicole Lauren all morning – I could absolutely not tell them apart as you can tell why!
